Life without kids would be...

Well my kids have certainly spiced my life up lately. Especially little man. He decided to pour water all over his sisters bed and then all over the floor, while I was downstairs doing my Monday routine. I started hearing giggles from him and Bri (probably the master mind behind it all). So, I decided to go and take a peek. So, Alyssa's bed is airing out while Bri is cleaning all the toys and Heath went down for his scheduled nap. Of course had none of this happened, I would've gotten a few more things done, but what's more important-a clean house or getting a laugh or two with your kids?!
We took our kids on a field trip to Petsmart the other day and if we didn't have kids with us we could've been in and out of there in about 15 minutes, but we were there for 1 1/2 hrs. Of course we had to take our little Misha who is mentally Heath's twin! They all enjoyed seeing all of the interesting animals and Chad left saying he wasn't saving up for a video game anymore...he wants a python (don't think so). He can keep dreaming. They are a lot of money and it'll take him an entire year to save up for the snake, cage and the other things you'd need. So, I am safe for now :) Heath was quite the handful. Tyson and I were pretty busy between trying to keep him happy and etertained within certain boundaries and training Misha around other dogs. Misha has it down with humans (for the most part). He just wants to play so bad and most of the other dogs are much smaller than him! Though we did find a St. Bernard mix that was a bit stalkier and Great Danes that were at least a head taller! Well we survived the trip and our kids loved it!
Through all of this I am reminded how dull my life would be without my kids and dog. I would probably have things together more and I would probably be involved with a lot of things outside of the home, but i think I wouldn't have learned what I have in these 8 years of having kids. One things for sure...you have less time to think about you! That can be a good thing, we as humans do that way too much anyways!

Hey Sharon;

Anytime your puppy needs a "play-date" just give me a call...my poor puppy is bored without her buddies who have moved to NY.

Your dog is big.

How's that for an understatement? :)

We need to get him and Sasha together for a play-date.
