Phewww! and a tribute to all of the Primary!

ok, I can't quite breathe yet because I still have many things to do around the house and classes to go to as well as projects to do for those classes and stake choir practice, but I am glad that the Primary Program went really well! I was so proud of those kids! They all sang their little hearts out and it was AMAZING how strong the Spirit was! They are a good bunch to lead! I am glad that those many hours spent on activities and forming ideas on how to teach the songs and keep the kids interested actually paid off-the Lord really helps us to fulfill our callings-even if we may be talented in something He is the one who hones it for his purposes! Sometimes when you are up there trying to keep the kids attention, you wonder if you are actually doin something :) I won't elaborate, but I will just say that I had a most wonderful Spiritual experience yesterday while those kids were singing " I Know That My Redeemer Lives" with the congregation, that I have never had in my entire life and it has greatly strengthened my testimony :)I could barely lead the kids i was tearin up so bad. It's kind of funny I had to turn around to get the congregation to stand. I had asked the ward chorister to do that, but I think he forgot--oops! :) Sister P did a great job of having the kids personalize what they were saying too and getting it all organized with the rest of the presidency :) All of the teachers deserve kudos for helping keep the kids taken care of and reverent during the program. I think Primary workers have one of the hardest jobs in the church on Sundays. Let me tell ya, there are many Sundays I go home with a headache and aching for a good long nap ( i am sure that I am not the only one)! :) I can only imagine those teachers who have to go home to their own kids too after trying to get a lesson going and keep the kids focused until the end. So my hats off to all the Primary workers around the world (as well as music leaders--their jobs are waaay more involved that I had ever thought)!

Thank YOU for all you do with the Primary!! We absolutely loved the program! My girls have been singing those songs for weeks...and that's saying something with HSM playing all the time. :)
I also felt the spirit. It was a beautiful meeting. I'll have to tell you later one of my favorite moments. I don't know why it touched me like it did, but it made me smile in addition to a few tears.
Thanks again...you're awesome.

Great job to you and the primary as a whole... It was absolutely wonderful! I love the sweet spirit the primary songs bring, not to mention the sweet primary kids' voices. Thanks for your work!

I, too, felt the Spirit so strongly during that last hymn. I was thinking about how awesome it is that little children can gain a testimony of the Savior just through a song. Kudos to you and all who "pulled it off" so beautifully! (I've been there and done that--I KNOW how much work it is!!!)

As you know we missed the program. We ended up coming home LATE Saturday night but deceided to stay home on Sunday. I had already told the primary leaders that Katlyn would not be there so I am sure they did not have her part in the program any longer. I did not want her to feel left out...I am glad that everything went great. I know how much YOU put into the program and the kids.
