Where has the time gone...

Time sure flies when you're havin' fun!!! It's little Bri's last year at home and when she leaves her little bro will be pretty sad and lonely :( I will be sad because then I will be down to my last kiddo at home and will have less time with another one of my kiddos. I am not going to know what to do with myself! Hmmmm... PARTY!!!:) No wait that's for when the last one is gone! LOL--- I guess I will find ways to fill my time...there's always something else to be done :) She (just like every kid before they started school full time) has been such a BIG help! She plays with her little brother while I get some things done and we all go to parks or hang out watching movies or have wrestling matches and tickle wars to pass the time before the other kids get home from school. I know that we will still have fun doing those things after school because we continue the fun (as long as there aren't too many things on the schedule besides homework) after the others get home. Bri has always been protective of her siblings, especially of Heath. SHe cries if it looks like he is gong to get hurt and she can't get to him quick enough and all of my kids talk about how they are best friends---wish they'd remember that when they are at each others throats :)!
My daughters cried not too long ago when we sold some of their baby clothes saying that we are supposed to have twin babies :) I calmly said that for right now we are done and if Heavenly Father wants us to have more then He will let us know when :) Besides what are the chances of having twins...ain't going to happen!
I love having my own family and I am grateful to have been blessed with 4 beautiful and wonderful children! They have taught me how to be a mother and what kind of woman I want to be. I have probably learned more from them, then they will ever learn from me :)I am glad that we can all laugh when mommy makes a mistake and they are willing to forgive me when I come apologize to them when I have yelled or have been short with them. It is my family that keeps me going when I don't want to go anymore and they are the ones that never leave my side ( though I have had a few friends that are there too) and help me to get through life's struggles--though they are my struggles at times :) So, to my family and the short men in my life--I Love you and am glad (when you are not on my nerves :) LOL) we are stuck together forever!

yesterday when Tyson bore his testimony he mentioned being short and Chad has been saying he is too short--so i belong to short men! ha ha:) No matter they may be short, but they are greater than even the tallest in my eyes!!! :)

That cracked me up about the "short" men.
I love your kids too, even if I don't see them as much as I used to. And I can't believe how our families have grown! It seems like just yesterday, B was 8 months old and you were going into labor in my car with Chad...and yet you still wanted to go to Pizza Hut. We did, too. :)

I could never pass up Pizza hut...labor or not :) Those were the good ol' days---the simple life :)

About the short thing - Chad bore his testimony for the first time on Sunday and they had to really lower the microphone (they didn't offer him the stool because he was a little older). I went immediately after and just joked that they weren't going to have to raise it a whole lot.

By the way Sharon, I like the quote posted up in the upper left hand corner of your page. I need more of both the first and the second. That quote's thought provoking.

It was so cute in church with the testimonies and the short thing. I tried not to laugh (to keep the spirit), but your hubby was funny. I am amazed daily at how close my kids are. Siblings truely love one another. As moms we get the honor of watching that. It brings me to tears sometimes to watch my kids interact. I love them so much and they are such a blessing in our family. Kids are great!

I feel like you adn I are on the same page, Sharon! Although my patience stopped at 3. I admire women with the strength to go beyond that. I love the cookie jar post. We must get the boys together to play. Once soccer and baseball are through it might be easier. It was funny to hear Tyson on Sunday mention how you and he were "done" because that is exactly how Shawn and I put it... with the same after-quote as well... "If Heavenly Father knows of another little spirit that needs to come into our home, He will let us know."
