Not too long ago we were informed that around these parts of town we will have to dial an area code for even our local numbers. Not a HUGE deal, but can be a little annoying since we aren't used to it and it takes another few seconds of my blessed time *sheesh*. I mean aren't we supposed to be in a time where technology is going to save us TIME? :)
One afternoon Miss Bria told Heath the news in a disappointed, but matter of fact voice. Here was their dialogue...
Bria, "Heath, you HAVE to dial 256 first."
Heath with his rebellious squinty eyes, clearly not really believing her authority on the matter, "Why!?! Who said that? It's stupid!"
Rolling her eyes with hand on her hips she replied with a sigh, "Obama did it! He's always doing dumb stuff like that!"
So now you know...I am opinionated. It has clearly left its mark. But hey, I did explain that it really wasn't Obama on this one. It was a bureaucrat.
