Who says dogs are man's best friend :)

Ok. I haaaaad to post some cute pics of kiddos and dog before I go CRAZY and do sell them or somethin' (though after this blog--don't know that anyone would want them :))! Let's just say today has beaten every other day out as being the absolute worst for cleaning! I had gone out with a friend to Kohl's and Heath and her daughter were pretty good...made me happy! And then I went to get Bria and thought hmmm, it's nice and is a happy day, maybe I will indulge my kids in a little treat! Hah, bad idea because that yummy chocolate shake ended up all over my van floor...stay calm, i thought---and I was quite impressed with myself--i stayed calm and didn't chew any heads off! :) Then as soon as I get hommmme--what do I hear, dog barks hmmm, kind of loud to be from the kennel- oh, well I guess he's...NO!!! He did a David Copperfield and found a way out of the kennel--that has 2 locks on it! Well (thought I), I guess he was fine--left him out before for an hour with us gone and he was great--way to stay positive! Then we go into the house and we go to the living room where a certain aroma meets my nose just as my 2 year old slips on the poopy and smears it more into the carpet! well, I took the contaminated show off and made the kiddos go upstairs so that I could start cleaning and then I walk into MY room and find even more poopy...on th walls, in the kennel and all over the floor and his toy basket (He's a BIG dog and has loads of room to hold a lot :)) So, by now I don't even know where to start the cleaning, i call dear hubby and leave a message warning him that he better call before I kill the dog (I threaten waaay too much:) and then proceed to clean and the doggy head avoids my eyes knowing (like a good trained husband) not to say a word or eeeeven BREATHE wrong! After about an hour of picking up, scrubbing, airing house out and getting to the van...I was done!
In defense of my dog--he apparently is sick, it was a huge runny blowout, but I sure was very unhappy and I still love him.
Ok that is my glass half empty moment! Now I am going to my classes and will get a break--it's Tyson's turn! I am glad that I can look on this with humor now!

I will post again soon--and hopefully over something not so hectic and crazy!

Sorry to read about the dog fiacso...Tessa has never peed or pooped in the house...we've left her for 11 hours in the house and she held it....Guess I got lucky there!

I have to take issue with Sharon's comment about well-trained husbands. That is not the kind of husband I am (maybe that's what Sharon's been looking for all these years).

Now you get to hear the rest of the story. There was dog poop all over our room - that's how we woke up - morning of the incident Sharon cites. Not only that, there was dog poop this morning too in the loft. Guess who got to clean those up...
