Sharon's H.I.T List

For all who may want to know...you should never...EVER wet mop your wood. Water and wood don't mesh well! :) Most wood floors are not made with a wax finish anymore and most cleaners sold at stores will leave waxy residue behind after you have cleaned because they are for waxed surfaces.

There is a product that is AWESOME to use called Bona and you use it with a micro fiber cloth which is great at picking things up that the broom may not have gotten! You can also buy this at Haley's Flooring and Interiors off of Bob Wallace Ave. So this is my tip to y'all this week! Hope it helps someone out!

You can also use ZEP which is sold at Home Depot, but should still use micro fiber cloths. Not sure what the price is so you may want to shop around for that :)

Nate and I want to put in hardwood flooring once we have the Tahoe paid off and save up the money, and I was just thinking today that I don't know how to care for them. If I forget wat to do by then, I will know who to talk to!

I remember experiences in Houston with trying to find the same info. I fell in love with that sweeper mop that came out, name escapes my mind. It was safe for the wood floors and used the micrfiber cloths. Shawn and I are wanting to replace all the carpet in the living areas with wood. Thanks for the tips!!!
