4 Classes DOWN and 6 MORE to go!!!

I DID IT! I finished my Architectural Drawing and Interior Design 1 classes. I get a few week break til Jan. 8th and then I am up again, but the BIG debate is over whether or not I should try to finish in a year! That'll mean my son will have to forgo baseball for this year and resume again next year, but i am having a hard time with that, but we can not do all of it :( Wish I were Super Woman!

I love that I took the time to do this for myself. I think that often times it is easy for us to forget about ourselves and keep doing for our kids and spouse and eventually start to lose who we are and begin to get worn out. This has helped me to gain more confidence in my abilities and has helped me to draw closer to my hubby who has supported me and encouraged me to enroll in this program, of course there are a few more that deserve credit such as my MIL, sis, and a few of my good buds, but should give great BIG kudos to the one who has taken on the Home while I am away!

I enjoyed learning more and gaining more strength in a talent I have been trying to get better at (it just takes a lot of time and money)! :) I have enjoyed getting to know other women and see their talents and be able to applaud them in those talents. It's hard to find other women who are actually happy to see each other succeed! They're kind of like the crabs in a bucket...whenever one looks like it'll escape (succeed) they all pull it back down. Not that all women are like this, but I have seen quite a few in my 28 years! :)

Here are all the things that I did for my classes and Final projects! It was a lot of work, but I enjoy doing this kind of stuff! :) For the Architectural Drawing, we were to design an outbuilding for the Mooresville historic Community and I chose to do a Potting Shed with lawn tool storage in the back. It was an 11 by 15 building.

For my Interior Design one I designed my Living Room ( I forgot to take a pic of the furniture page so y'all could see what I am actually putting in there--i willpost it after I get it back with my grade results) and we should be getting our grades back in a few weeks! Kind of NERVOUS! Biting nails moment! :) I didn't want to put my paisley with the stripes at first bcause I didn't know if that was the look I was going for, but started falling inlove with it the more I had it laying next to all my stuff! So, there's a summary in a nutshell for ya! Enjoy!

Ok...I have to say about the women applauding thing...the women I go to school with applauded each other too, so I am not the only one who applauds (what I had written may have sounded like I was making myself look better and I wasn't meaning that). It's just neat to have a support group amongst women! :)

Congratulations! I really admire you for going after something that really interests you! I may even have to have you come over and tell me what I can do with my problem living room!

They all look great and very professional! You put a ton of hard work into those final projects and it sure paid off. Now, when I can I hire you to totally decorate my house? I had fun the other night--we should do it more often. I loved those little chocolate candies and may have to hit you up for some more . . .
