Here is me about a week ago and I was thinking that I needed a trim! SOOOOOO, I went a got 7 inches chopped off! It was weird and it was kind of a sad moment because I have had hair that has been at least 3-4 inches past my shoulders for about 2 years now. It was sad to see my long locks all over the floor :) it can grow back, right? At least that is what I kept telling myself every time I heard the scissors at work!

I actually like the new do and am glad for a change. I am always up for something new!

Other than that we have had an exciting Sunday this week! we were cleaning all the dishes and putting food away when my dear hubby sliced his pinky on the opened can of tomato sauce...needless to say we threw that away! :) We went to a friend of ours who is a nurse to see if we needed to go wait 10 years of our lives in the E.R and she said we should go and get stitches, but suggested the Urgent Care, where else, but in our back yard...off Balch Road. Why didn't we think of that?! LOL I have to say that it took longer than we thought, but ya know how you go into these doc in the box places and you wonder if their credentials were from a funny farm or not, but this lady knew her stuff and we were quite impressed with her easygoing and friendly bedside manner. So, I will give that place and "A"! When we were signing out Tys decided to sign the papers and it was funny to see him writing with his pinky out and I said he looked a little prissy! So the nurse said, "When in doubt, pinky out"! It was hilarious! If you're not laughing...it's probably because you had to have been there! LOL

So, I chopped my hair and Tyson chopped his finger. What an exciting life! :)
Here is the lovely battle wound...CAUTION NOT FOR EASILY QUEEZY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the hair! Can't say that I love the finger though. Ouch! I have sliced and diced myself in many places, but have never had to get stitches. Poor Tyson.

Ouch Tys! I can TOTALLY relate since I currently have 3 stitches in my right thumb from a fight with a food processor blade! Who knew simple kitchen tasks could be so dangerous!

Hey Sharon! I clicked through someone's link and found you! Anyway, I love the hair! I AM very squeamish, though, and the warning came a minute too late :) Sorry you all had to deal with that.

I love the new hairdo, but did not really wish to see Tyson's finger. Ouch and yuck! I give major appreciation to all those nurses and doctors out there!
