It's that time of year again where you color Easter eggs (these are pics from last year cause we haven't colored eggs yet)!
Make them beautiful and create a mess that takes forever to clean because the glue you put on the eggs to hold the foil is almost like SUPER glue!
Where at least one of your kids gets mad cause they aren't getting what they want (oldest boy on right and I have no idea why he was so fussy!)!
ANNNND we create fun traditions that will last a lifetime (despite those bahh humbug Easter kids)! ;)

It looks like you all had fun with the easter eggs I think that I would get them stuck to me if the glue is that strong
great photo friday
How do you glue the foil on -- the eggs look great!
We LOVE doing this as well and making traditions with the kids. I can't wait to do ours, even with the huge mess I'll have to scrub to get clean! lol!
Great photos and I hope you all have a great time this year too!
They look cool! Can you still eat them? I mean people foil their hair to make it turn pretty colors, so I'm assuming it's some kind of chemical reaction ???

Not-so-hidden Mickey
Chris-It all came in a kit and had some adhesive in a small tube that you rubbed on the egg...that was pretty sticky, but it was fun to use it!
Tink- It is still edible...just a bit sticky on the fingers if still wet, so you would want it completely dry before peeling.
love those puss faces!!
Such a classic picture. How's this baby coming along?!? Well this years eggs get here before her?!
Looks like a lot of fun. We only do the plastic eggs, but I may have to boil up a few and let him be a little more creative this year.
I am SO glad you posted this. I completely forgot about dying eggs. I need to get boiling! :)
Yours look really cool! I have to laugh at your kids. Mine are the same way. :)
Ah coloring eggs........we'll be doing this tomorrow!
Just what I'll be doing today. I <3 easter eggs
We just did easter eggs today! I will definitely have to post photos... but with just one old enough to help it wasn't so bad!
I love this! Great job. We haven't colored eggs yet either. Tomorrow. I dread it, I'm always afraid dye will get spilled, my kids always get upset when their eggs don't turn out as planned, when they can't keep them forever...
Still, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Great PSF
ahhh dying easter eggs, i'm the grandma now--the mom's handle that stuff. hooray
thanks for visiting today
Wow..that looks like fun! My little one isn't old enough yet, I don't think...plus I can't seem to hard boil an egg to save my life! Congrats on baby number 5. My sister-in-law has five girls. 8 and younger. She's a single mom right now, but boy does she have a blast with them. God bless! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'll try to swing back around here too!
:) Maybe they'll be all smiles this year? Is that too much to hope for? ;)
This is a must do tradition for us. I've made Aaron dye eggs every year since we've been married. What a good sport. : ) And this year Adam got to help too.
The eggs turned out wonderfully though! I love all the metallic on them. And you know, I didn't get any smiles for easter with anything easter related either. The kids were just too busy checking out what they got. ;)
