Kids Say/Do the Darndest Things...

**As we were watching "Shrek 2", Chad said two things that brought a smile to my face! The crock pot just buzzed it's annoyingly ugly buzz and I mentioned how I hated the sound of it and what a shame it was that such a beautiful crock pot has such an ugly buzz and Chad replied "Yeah...it's like someone who's beautiful and when they speak they have an ugly voice!"

Then later I said " I wish I had a Happily Ever After potion to make me beautiful and Chad said "you ARE beautiful!" That just made my day! Especially since I had been cleaning all day and no shower! :)

**During our preparations to set the table for dinner, I told the kids to keep their toys off the table and of course they didn't listen. I ended up telling them again and again and then was fed up and said a little loudly "Get your toys off the table for the 10 millionth and twelfth time!" Of course once again they didn't listen and I said "Hey, take the toys off..." and Bria said "For the 10 millionth and thirteenth time?" At least she was listening, not obeying, but listening! :)

**As I was looking through some of my friends blogs we saw a picture of a broken heart and Heath said sadly "the heart is BROKEN!" I said "Yes, it is hun." Then he paused thinking rather intently, then added "Well my heart is fixed!"

**Laney's eye was scratched by another child and we said to the kids that we needed to take her to the "eye doctor" and shortly after that the little girl scratched Heath's cheek and lip and he cried saying, "Now I have to go to the "face doctor"!~BWAHAHAH! Ok, you had to have been there.

**After getting frustrated with something someone said about women, I was talking to my husband and kids a bit about it and said "Women are good at lots of things and people who think differently need their butts whipped." Then Alyssa said "Yeah, like the way you whoop our butts around this house."
