It was nice to see something on a sign that I actually understood! Well for the most part? :)
This is their form of garbage pick up. I saw one guy that had his cart piled at least double what this guy has. When we were walking we had to step around huge piles of trash bags waiting on the curbs to be picked up. Some with trash strewn on the ground from the poor digging through to find food or other things they might have a need for. It was weird to be in the broad daylight and people walking past these individuals that were digging through the garbage. I guess here in America if we have someone digging through our trash where we can see it, we feel a little violated.
This is some of the awesome landscape that we saw on our travels to the beach in Santos. It really is pretty green and looks like anything can grow here (and probably does). :)
We also saw a "Wet'n'Wild" there. That was interesting and so unexpected! :)
This is a farm that we saw on our way to Campinus. It reminds me of an Italian landscape. So pretty!
I Loved photographing the Temple, as evidence by how many shots I put up. ;) We were fortunate enough to be able to go to 2 while there.
I always like to look at the contrast of the Temple grounds and the world outside. It gives me hope.

This is the Campinus Temple. It sure is beautiful!
Here is a ward building in Santos. Once again you see the fence with spikes to keep people from breaking in, but it is still done beautifully.
Here is the stake building that we attended church in. I is really big and has a basketball court out back with not only a fence around it, but netting over the top so that they don't lose their basketballs if there is an overthrow.
And I will leave you with one shot that reminds me of who we truly are.

I LOVE your temple shots! It is always so exciting to see other temples. I also love the pictures of you and Tyson together.
Oh well it looks like everything I was going to say has been said. But I love the temple pic's and you and Tyson together. See total copy cat. I sure hope you can go on another trip someday. It sounds like such fun.
Lucky you to get to attend two different temples there. Some great shots. Neat to contrast the beauty and spirit of the temple to the world outside the temple grounds.
Every time I see a picture like the one of that man collecting garbge or something else as backward, I am reminded that I live in the best country in the world despite current problems. Luckily we're on the brink of patriotic season.
