We announce that there will be NO cheer leading competition this year for our girls because we were the only school (SJC) that was ready and organized enough to be there!
This was going to be Bria's first year and she was so excited! So, yes it is a sad day for our house! Ok... Chad isn't really sad, but we girls are because cheer leading for us isn't just cheering, it's dancing, tumbling and the school we go through has the girls learn true sportsmanship by cheering on the other girls from the other teams while they are performing...in other words it is a fun sport where unity is nurtured! So here's to next year and a great end of another cheer season! I will be posting pictures of the girls soon...so keep looking for that! ;)
We were told that over the next year there is going to be a big organizing of the Pop Warner Cheer program so I look forward to more fun opportunities offered for our girls! If you are interested in knowing when sign ups will be please let me know and I will keep you updated!
Update on Nikolai: My cat is doing better. He had a really bad infection, that has made his skin die and fall off where he was bitten, from a cat fight and is going to take 6 weeks to fully recover and have his skin grow back, but we were reassured by the doctor that he would make a full recovery!
