From Anger to Panic to Relief all in 5 seconds FLAT!

I was on the computer when Bria came up and asked if she could take something to the neighbor's house (she wrote a note to a friend) and I said "Yes, but come straight home". So about 3o minutes went by and I had finished what I was doing when I realized she wasn't home yet! I was getting mad and thought of the punishment she would receive as soon as she walked through that door so I sent my deputy, Chad to go get her and he came back empty handed! My anger was beginning to turn into panic because I called for her in the house and no response and we checked all over the neighborhood and the house, then I called Tys in a slight panic just when Chad went upstairs to check their room again aaaaannnnnd there she was fast asleep! Don't know how we had missed that one earlier, but PHEWWWW!!! It took several minutes before my heart slowly went back to it's rightful place and for the adrenaline to subside!

I had to calm the slight anger I felt because she had worried me, but am now ok and very RELIEVED that she is safe and sound in her bed!

I hate that terrifying feeling! So thankful she was just a sleepy gal. PS - love her bedding. So very cute.

So she's not allowed out of the house again, right?
That just makes me nervous.

Whew! I also hate those moments of terror, thinking you might never see your kid again. I'm just glad you found her quickly!

You did that before when you were little. When you were about 4, we had gotten into an argument. Later I couldn't find you and searched the house up and down. Still no Sharon. I panicked and called Aunt Nora. She came looking for you too. Finally we found you asleep behind the TV in the basement.

That panic feeling makes me so sick. I'm glad she was just sleeping! Tell her to make more noise next time she comes home!
