Bria wanted a garden themed party for her birthday where everyone dresses up and uses their manners.She ended up inviting mostly boys. I know, boys, manners and DRESSING UP!?! What a combo, but, surprisingly enough the boys were troopers and still enjoyed themselves. Her 2 best girlfriends came and had a blast as well and they all fit in with the boys just fine.
It turned out to be a really fun party. Heath has talked about it for days and we still have the spring ornaments on our kitchen light. Not sure when those bad boys will be taken down, but we are sure enjoying when the sun hits just right and they sparkle.
With the theme in mind, I had fun pulling it all together and scored big when I found these cupcake liners. They look just like a clay pot, but were silicone. It made it easy to get the cupcake out in one piece and clean up was a piece of cake (pun intended).
Then I went to Kirkland's and found the cake stand, metal flowers and spring ornaments. They are going to be used in the girls' room when I finally get around to painting and decorating it. Hopefully before they are 18! :)
We have had quite a few birthdays here at our house in the past few months. PHEW! Now that we get a break until December, my wallet and I can recover.
