Laney is 2!?!

It's hard to believe that two years have come and gone. I was always told that the older you get, the faster time seems to go by and I am now well aware of the truthfulness of that fact. It's sad when it becomes a personal well known fact. One day my kids will be grown and I will miss the naughty giggles, toys strewn all over the house, the fridge littered in art work and knowing that I have them all tucked safely in bed at night when I lay my head down to rest.

I hoped thought that we might be done after Heath (our #4), but am so glad that I really thought it through and decided that we needed to bring down another precious spirit into our home. It isn't easy to have a big family and it isn't easy to be busy or to learn to do without because your kids come first, but there is nothing in this world that means more to me, than my precious children. Nothing can fill me up the way family does and I am forever grateful that God knows what makes me happiest and that I can rely on Him answering prayers and guiding me through life's choices. Without His guidance I wouldn't be as filled and happy. It'd just be nice to be smitten with a few riches once in awhile. :)

Laney-bug is such a happy girl. She loves her siblings, gets super excited when the door opens between 5:30 and 6 pm revealing her daddy and is a BIG momma's girl! We adore her cute little curls, kissable lips and ticklish toes.




And though she has spilled almost an entire bottle of water on our front area rug, thrown a bag of croutons across the living room, pegged a few too many siblings with hard toys and not only painted her own fingernails, without us knowing, but painted our tile floor as well, she is still the most ADORABLE little gal around. :)
